Refund & Returns Policy

14-day right of withdrawal

Under EU consumer law, you have the right to cancel your order and return your buRm OBD2 scanner within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason. The product must be in its original condition and packaging.

How to request a return

1. Email info@beyourmechanic.com with your order ID and reason for return.
2. We'll reply within 1 business day with the return address.
3. Ship the device back to us — return postage is the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty.
4. Once received and inspected (within 3 working days), we'll refund the €40 to your original payment method.

Faulty or damaged items

If your scanner arrives damaged or stops working within the first 12 months due to a manufacturing defect, contact us and we'll arrange a free replacement or full refund — including return postage.

Refund timing

Refunds are issued via Stripe to the original card and typically appear in 5–10 working days depending on your bank.

Non-refundable

The AI diagnosis tool is free to use, so nothing is paid and nothing is refundable for that service.
