Welcome to buRm ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and the purchase of our OBD2 scanner. By using this site or buying from us, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
buRm provides (a) an AI-powered diagnostic tool that interprets OBD2 trouble codes in plain English, and (b) a physical OBD2 scanner shipped to addresses in Ireland for €40 including delivery.
2. Not a substitute for a qualified mechanic
Our diagnoses are informational only. They are not a substitute for inspection by a qualified motor technician. We do not accept liability for repair decisions made solely on the basis of our output. Always have safety-critical issues inspected in person.
3. Orders and payment
- Orders are processed once payment is received via Stripe.
- Prices are in EUR and include Irish delivery.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order (e.g. suspected fraud, stock issues). In such cases you will be refunded in full.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site — including no automated scraping, no attempts to break our security, and no use of the AI tool for anything other than personal vehicle diagnosis.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of buRm is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes will be handled in the Irish courts.
